Air Quality in Durham City
The levels of nitrogen dioxide in the air in some areas of Durham City exceeds the national standard. Various Durham County Council documents on this issue are available.
An air quality action plan for Durham City, produced by Durham County Council, identified actions to reduce pollution levels and improve the standards of air quality across the City. There was a consultation on this plan in 2015 and the Trust responded. The plan was approved on 15 June 2016. The Trust’s response is below:
