Conflicts policy

The definition of a conflict of interest set out in the current Charity Commission guidance is that: ““A conflict of interest is any situation in which a trustee’s personal interests or loyalties could, or could be seen to, prevent them from making a decision in the best interests of the charity.”

The Trustees make independent decisions based only on what is in the best interests of the charity in achieving its objects. To guide how the Trust will deal with any conflicts of interest, the Trustees have agreed a ‘Conflicts Policy’.
