Consultations on our streets

Durham County Council have recently consulted on a number of supplementary planning documents (SPDs) and design guides that affect our urban landscape. These have legal weight when planning proposals are considered. The documents are:

• Residential Amenity SPD
• Highways Design Guide
• Parking and Accessibility SPD

The Trust’s responses to these consultations are available. They provide detailed suggestions on how these documents can be improved.
