Durham Castle and Cathedral World Heritage Site
The WHS is consulting on its new draft Management Plan Prospectus. The consultation will run till 25th November.
Help Shape Durham City’s Future
The County Council are planning to produce ‘A Vision and Strategic Place Plan’ (SPP) which will replace the 2020 Durham City Framework. It will be developed with input from this consultation, making sure that local people, businesses, and communities are involved in the city’s future. This shared vision will help to write spatial, economic, and action plans tailored to Durham City’s needs. The consultation will run till 25th November.
Durham City Conservation Area review and new Management Plan
The County Council is consulting on three aspects:
- Conservation Area boundary review (comprising 7 sub-areas: Crossgate, Elvet, Framwellgate, Gilesgate, Hill Colleges, Old Durham, Peninsula)
- The Durham City strategic overview
- The Management Strategy
The consultation will run till 25th November.
