Crook Hall
The Trust has been saddened by the news that Crook Hall has stopped trading and has to be sold. The Hall is a real heritage asset to the City as well as a beautiful garden space in which to relax.
John Lowe, the Chair of the Trust, said:
“We are very very shocked and obviously deeply saddened by the news, not only from a heritage point of view, which is obviously a prime concern to the trust, but also from the point of view of the people who live and work there.
It’s an important facility within our neighbourhood and will be great loss. They hope to sell it and it may well be that new owners will be able to restore the business. Crook Hall is one of the main attractions outside the World Heritage Site for the city.”
