Norman Chapel – A community asset

Trustees recently participated at a workshop on 27 February 2025, focussing on Durham Castle’s Norman Chapel. ‘Hidden Heritage, Multi-Disciplinary and Multi-Sector Perspectives on the Norman Chapel in Durham Castle’ is a Research Network funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council.
Michael Hurlow wrote a paper for ‘Workshop 3: Interpretation, Community, Sustainability’ on the role of the Chapel as a community asset. The paper was read out by Adrian Green as Michael was unable to attend the meeting in person.
